Q. What is Communication and Development Studies?
A. Communication and Development Studies refers to the study of communication to promote and support positive social development and behavior change. Students in the program focus on a variety of different forms of communication including, but not limited to, community media, interpersonal communication, entertainment education, health communication and more.
Q. Can I apply to start the program during spring or winter quarter?
A. No. Students accepted into the program must start classes in the fall quarter.
Q. When is the application deadline?
A. Applications must be postmarked by January 1. Application decisions will be mailed out in early or mid–March.
Q. Does the Communication and Development Studies Program require GRE scores for admission?
A. No, the program does not require students to take the GRE.
